In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five food delivery service apps on iOS in Greece showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:

efood delivery from e-food.gr maintained consistent weekly downloads throughout the quarter, with figures ranging from approximately 3.0K to 4.0K. The app saw a peak in downloads during the week of December 26, reaching around 4.1K. Active users also increased steadily, moving from about 30.1K at the start of the quarter to 42.2K in mid-December, before slightly declining to 37.4K by the end.

BOX by COSMOTE observed a significant spike in downloads during the quarter. While the initial weeks saw downloads between 1.7K and 2.0K, there was a sharp increase to approximately 8.8K in the week of December 5. Active user data for BOX was not provided.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more from Wolt experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.0K and peaking at 3.6K in mid-November. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 25.1K and reaching a high of 27.9K in mid-December, before dropping to 23.5K by the end of December.

e-Καταναλωτής noted a massive surge in downloads in the week of October 31, reaching 7.2K, up from just 77 downloads at the start of the quarter. However, this spike was short-lived, with downloads falling back to below 500 in the subsequent weeks. Active user data was not available for this app.

InstaShop: Grocery Delivery by InstaShop Ltd showed a decline in downloads through the quarter, starting at 1.1K and ending at just 195 in the final week of December. Active users also followed a downward trend, from 1.6K to 989 over the same period.
